No. Brides and grooms review profiles only at bridalnegotiator.com, which keeps the process simple and easy. You may provide your website information in the space allotted for it on the application, but the brides and grooms do not see this information.

No. There are not any membership or listing fees associated with bridalnegotiator. As a result, bridalnegotiator is the most cost effective way to book weddings.

3.Can I accept work from other sources or agencies?

Absolutely. By submitting your profile for listing on bridalnegotiator.com, you do not become an employee or contractor of bridalnegotiator. Actually, you do not work for us in any way. We merely provide you with leads or referrals - our job is to hook up brides and grooms with the proper professionals for their wedding. After you are awarded a wedding, you enter into a relationship with the bride and groom directly, not with bridalnegotiator.

Absolutely not. We merely hook you up with brides and grooms. After we do the "hooking up," we step back - allowing you and the bride and groom to determine what is best for the wedding.

5.How am I paid?

Photographers are paid within two weeks after you upload the wedding photos to our online photo site. Videographers and disc jockeys are paid within two weeks after the wedding date. The check will be made payable to your name in the amount of the accepted bid.

After your bid for a wedding has been accepted, we send the bride and groom a questionnaire. This is one of the ways that the bride and groom will provide you with information about their wedding day. Once the bride and groom complete the questionnaire, they will email it directly to you.

14.What do I do if I cannot make a wedding I was awarded?

When you are awarded a wedding, you enter into a binding agreement with the bride and groom to provide your services for their wedding. Therefore, you must discuss this matter with the bride and groom directly. Also, depending on the reason for your inability to perform the services, your profile may be removed from bridalnegotiator.

15.How far will I have to travel?

During the bridalnegotiator application process, you are asked how far you are willing to travel from your home address. You will not be considered for weddings outside of this designated area. We recommend you keep as wide a range as possible to maximize your opportunities.

This is up to you and the bride and groom. We strongly suggest that you do so. Remember, you must at least call the bride and groom within two weeks of being awarded the wedding.

Remember, you are a professional so you should dress professionally. It is typical for disc jockeys to wear tuxedos. As for photographers and videographers, dress pants and dress shirt are acceptable. Dark colors are typical.

Yes. The files must be in jpeg format. We recommend using our Easy Uploader, which allows you to upload photos without having to resize them. The photos must not have any watermarks or other identifying marks on them. Finally, the photos must be appropriate for all audiences. Remember, the best sample photos are of weddings!

We have found that watermarks detract from a bride and groom's appreciation of your work. The typical viewer finds watermarks annoying and distracting.

First, you must complete whatever retouching or other post-wedding editing of the photographs. Next, you must upload the photographs to bridalnegotiator's online photo site (you will receive an email with instructions on how to do so). Finally, you must check the specific wedding requirements as they may require that you mail a DVD of the images to the bride and groom. You will be paid within two weeks of the date you upload the photographs to bridalnegotiator's online photo site.
