The Application Process

  1. Complete the online application. This information is the building blocks for your profile on bridalnegotiator. Your profile is your only form of advertisement to brides and grooms. When brides and grooms are shopping for photographers, videographers, or disc jockeys on bridalnegotiator, they will review your profile along with others, and determine who they want for their wedding.
  2. Upload your sample photos and/or videos. Brides and grooms will see this when reviewing your profile, so make them memorable. Besides, there is nothing quite like showing brides and grooms what you are capable of!
  3. You will receive an email indicating whether your profile has been approved, rejected, or needs revision or addition. If it needs revision or addition, we will explain what exactly is missing or needs to be changed.

    5. The Booking Process

  5. The bride and groom will submit their wedding requirements to bridalnegotiator and select you as one of the professionals that they would like for their wedding. You will receive an email notifying you of the opportunity for a booking. The bride and groom's wedding requirements will specify a number of details including the wedding date, the ceremony and reception locations, how much time coverage they need, and their estimated budget.
  6. If you are interested in the wedding, then you will login to your bridalnegotiator account. In your account, you will submit a bid for the wedding in an amount that is less than the estimated budget. The lower the bid, the more likely you will be awarded the wedding.
  7. You will be notified whether you are awarded the wedding or not. If you are awarded the wedding, then CONGRATULATIONS! At this point, bridalnegotiator handles collection of payment from the bride and groom, well before your scheduled event.
  8. You will receive the contact information for the bride and groom. You must contact them and introduce yourself within two weeks of being awarded their wedding. You will then work with the bride and groom directly to prepare for the wedding.
  9. The wedding date arrives and you do your photography, videography, or disc jockey thing!
  10. If you are a photographer or videographer, you provide any DVDs, etc. as requested in the couple's wedding details. If you are a photographer, you additionally upload the final photographs to bridalnegotiator's online photo site within three weeks of the wedding date.
  11. If you are a photographer, we pay you no later than two weeks after you upload the photos. If you are a videographer or disc jockey, we pay you no later than two weeks after the wedding date.
